Structural use of glass in building
National Research Council (CNR) - Study Commission for the preparation of Technical Standards about the structural use of glass in buildings
Reserch Unit of University of Florence - PRIN program 2005-2007 and 2008-2010.
The research program concerned the study of the thermo-mechanical behaviour of glass in building. In particular, the Unit of Florence worked
about the wind loads on facades and about the use of tensile resistant
material to build reinforced glass beams.
Experimental analysis of the thermo-mechanical behaviour of PVB interlayers
Load duration effects on the strenght of monolithic and laminated glass plates
Study of the mechanical behaviour of C-FRP reinforced glass beams
